GigPigeon was born out of the frustration of going to see lots of live music, and not being able to remember who was great and who I'd want to see again, and who wasn't to my taste. I also couldn't remember if I'd seen a band or not. I wanted to have a record of what I had seen, and so did my friends, so the app was born.
